Charles Ray Maddox, 94, of Millington, TN, passed away surrounded by love on March 23, 2026, in Memphis, TN. Charles was born August 02, 1931, in Memphis, TN, to parents Bettie and William Maddox. He graduated from Humes High School and worked for Kimberly Clark for many years, until he retired. Charles served in the United States Air Force, he was a part of the Freemasons, as well as a Shriner. Charles loved the University of Memphis' football and basketball teams. He was a very active fan and attended several different games throughout his lifetime. He loved flea markets and yard sales, in fact he collected several artifacts over the years and loved to share stories of where he collected those items from. Charles attended Frayser Cumberland Presbyterian and served there until he could no longer attend.  Charles is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife of many years, Peggy Maddox, his brothers James and George, as well as his sister Bonnie. He is survived by 4 nephews and 2 nieces. Charles will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss him more than words can express.
