CHARLES RAY GENTRY, 70, was born March 13, 1942 and went home on November 5, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Glenda; daughter, Paula Waits (Jeff); son, Brad Gentry (Tammy); son, Matthew Gentry (Lindsay); seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Maggie Key and Bobbie Maxwell. He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Gentry, his mother, Ida Gentry, two brothers and one sister. He retired from the local carpenters union, No. 345. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved spending time with his family and working with youth in the church and community. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 8 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with services to follow at 12 p.m., all at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home.
