"Chuck" Edman, Jr.
February 24, 1959 – June 17, 2019
Charles F. Edman, Jr., 60, of Goodlettsville, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 17, 2019. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Anne Edman; his maternal grandparents, Ashley Nathaniel and Lois Johnston Tanner; and paternal grandparents, Eugene Edman and Annie Edman. He is survived by his sister, Sandra Edman Wilson (Joe); nephews, Dave and Jonathan Dickerson; nieces, Dulcie and Mabel Dickerson; aunt, Barbara Tanner; and many beloved cousins and friends. Chuck was born in Memphis on February 24, 1959. He came to know the Lord at age 13 at Georgian Hills Baptist Church in Memphis. He graduated from Skyview Academy, where he excelled in many sports. He loved to watch and participate in many sports, and was an avid UT fan. Chuck later managed fitness gyms, where he personally enjoyed working out and staying fit. As an adult, he enjoyed bowling with his mom and dad, and softball with his dad and Uncle Neal. For a brief period, he worked at St. Joseph Hospital in Memphis. He then had a successful career in sales. He worked for many beverage companies over the years, including: Budweiser in Memphis, Nestle Water in Florida, Crystal Springs Water in Nashville, and most recently Culligan Water. His family were the most important part of his life. He was currently a member of Parkway Baptist Church in Goodlettsville, TN, where he attended with his sister and family. The family will receive friends during visitation Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 pm, with the funeral to follow. Rev. Ken Castleberry from Parkway Baptist Church will be officiating. All services and interment will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery. The family requests any memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
