Carrie Munns, 53, of Horn Lake, MS passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017. Mrs. Munns was preceded in death by her brother, James Allen Sawyer. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Michael Munns; son, Cody Ray Munns; son, Lannie Austin Munns; parents, Larry James Sawyer and Anjel Sherrie Sawyer; sister, Patricia Yarnold; grandfather, Virgil Lee Sawyer; and in-laws, Ray and Debbie Munns. Mrs. Munns was a "go getter" and a very strong woman. She worked for Ergon for 31 years. She was a part of the DeSoto Photography Club. A visitation will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 12-2 pm with a funeral service to follow at 2:00. All services and interment will be held at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery.
