Carolyn Denise Sigler Barnes, 55, passed away Tuesday September 6, 2011 in Memphis, Tennessee. She leaves behind to cherish her memories her Sons: RJ Whittington and Barry Barnes, her parents: Neil Allen & Evelyn Sigler, her Ex-husband and dear friend: Andrew Barnes, her church family and many other friends. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Memorial Church and was a graduate of the Memphis State Nursing School in 1977. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday September 10, 2011 at the Mt. Vernon Memorial Church with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Vernon Memorial Church Cemetery.
