It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carlotta D. Boykin. She went home to be with Our Heavenly Father on December 4,2024.

Carlotta was a true beacon of light that enjoyed life. Her contagious smile was as pure as snow. She loved the most simplest - yet priceless things such as, food (dressing, tacos, Mexican chips and dip). She loved to travel, going to the beach, and to the movies. Watching channel 3 WREC and participating at Martha Manor brought her such joy. Carlotta also enjoyed getting ready for church, putting on her makeup, just as much as she enjoyed the service itself. The love for worship and music was definitely there. One of her favorite artists was Anita Baker. There's no surprise that her favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas. Ms. Carlotta took advantage of the opportunity of life daily and genuinely celebrated every year with a trip to Chuck E. Cheese!! If everyone could have the life that she lived, there would be no room for sadness.

Carlotta leaves her parents, Robert and Yvonne Boykin; two sisters, Robbie (Jeremy) Karpin and Melissa Smith; one brother, Kenneth Glover; two nieces, Lauren and Kentriana; two nephews, Kenneth Glover, Jr and William Smith; a very near and dear aunt, Gladys McChriston; aunts, uncles and a host of cousins as well as a pet dog Daisy to cherish beautiful, and timeless memories.

She will be greatly missed.
