Bruce Burdette Archdeacon, Jr., age 74, of Millington, TN passed away Monday, December 20, 2010 in Germantown, TN. Mr. Archdeacon was a retired FBI agent, a U.S. Army veteran and a former Bishop and committed member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He leaves his wife of 51 years, Charlotte Archdeacon of Millington; two sons, Ted Archdeacon of Bartlett, TN and David Archdeacon of Buckeye, AZ; three daughters, Susan Clemons of Bartlett, Nancy Krueger of Justin, TX, and Linda Buchanan of Colorado Springs, CO; one brother, Carl Archdeacon of Columbiana, OH; and 16 grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, 6755 Hwy. 51 N. in Millington. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 23 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9604 Hwy. 51 N., also in Millington. Interment to follow in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. The family requests that any memorials be directed to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
