Bobbie Nell Stephenson of Bartlett, TN went to be with the Lord on December 16, 2023, age 87 after a long illness. She was born to Johnny and Ruth Fisher on February 18, 1936.

Before retiring, she worked at Sears & Roebuck. She was a member of Quail Ridge Church of Christ. She was known by all who loved her as "Nanny."  She enjoyed spending time cooking, gardening, quilting, and traveling. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jewell of 61 years, daughter Linda Montgomery(Larry), son Bobby Jewell Stephenson, great grandson Reed Hensley, two sisters Sue Massengill and Joanne Burks, four brothers Rex Fisher, James Fisher, Dan Fisher and Roy Fisher.

She leaves behind a daughter, Ruthie Sanders (Mike), two granddaughters, Jill Pepper (Garrett), Allison Hensley(Stephen), three great grandchildren Mattie Hensley, Mac Pepper and Grant Hensley, four sisters Doris Stutts, Cynthia Smith, Ava Morgan, Bonnie Williams, three brothers Leroy Fisher, Johnny Fisher, and Marty Fisher and many other family and friends whom she loved dearly.

The family would like to extend a special appreciation to the staff and especially the caregivers at the TN State Veterans Home in Humboldt, TN for giving such wonderful care and loving Mrs. Bobbie.

The service will be held Wednesday December 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery, 6755 HWY 51 N. Millington, TN 38053.
