Betty Lynn Simcox, 76, died Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Millington Healthcare. She was an excellent seamstress who also enjoyed square dancing, friends, and walking. She was a lifelong learner and pursued a CDL license and a Realtors license. She also worked as a home health care aide and was active in silver sneakers at the YMCA. She was a secretary for Idlewild Presbyterian Church for a number of years. First Baptist Millington was her church home and she enjoyed attending her Sunday school class, and was baptized in 2010 there. Mrs. Simcox survivors include her daughters, Shari Lynn (Robert) Everson of Atoka; Cynthia Lee Bray; Janet Birmingham; and Linda Ann Bowers all of Millington; 15 grandchildren; four great grandchild; brothers, Wilford Busby; and Raymond Johnson. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Birmingham; brother, James Johnson; and sisters, Imogene Johnson and Joann Busby. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, from 5-7. Funeral Services will be at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 1:00. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
