Betty Jo Campbell Bowers, 67, of Memphis, TN, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 in Memphis. Ms. Bowers was born on September 8, 1949 in Pensacola, FL to the late Ernest Ray Campbell and to Eloise Jones Campbell. She was a member of Sycamore View Church of Christ. She was a licensed professional counselor in private practice in Memphis. Ms. Bowers is preceded in death by her father, her brother Robert Campbell and her daughter Drena Lynette Bowers. She is survived by her mother; her three children: Christopher "Chris" (Becky), Wade (Landee) and Ashley (Silvino) Gomez; ten grandchildren: Hannah and Caroline Bowers, Madison, Hayden and Elijah Bowers, Brianna Oligney, Jasmine, Anthony, Stephanie and Jessica Gomez; two brothers: Doug and Gene Campbell and one sister Joann Dewis. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 pm and the funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 3:00 pm, all at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery.
