Betty Jo Borger, age 75, of Memphis, TN, passed away April 4, 2024. Surrounded by her loving family, Betty concluded her vibrant and nurturing life's journey.
Born on June 8, 1948, in New Albany, MS., Betty was raised in the loving embrace of a close-knit family, surrounded by her mother and father, John and Audrey, and siblings, Debbie, Beth, John Jr. and Holly. Preceded in death by her parents and her brother John Arnoult Jr., Betty's legacy is carried forward through her rich tapestry of family connections and enduring friendships.
Betty is survived by her devoted husband of 57 years, Robert Borger Sr.; children, Robert Jr. (Patricia), Audra (Chris), and Tiffany (Craig); as well as her cherished grandchildren Carolyn, Isaiah, Josaiah, Macaiah, Michael (Rhi), Bette (Vishal), Timothy, Chelsea (Bryan), Weston (Morgan), Cannon, Charlie, and Knox. She was also a proud great-grandmother to David, Samuel, Raylan, and Truett.
Known for her boundless generosity and loving spirit, Betty was a beacon of kindness and resilience. Her life was a testament to selfless love and dedication to her family, impacting all who knew her with her warmth and grace. Betty was a loyal faithful servant to Jehovah for more than 53 years. A fixture in her community, she also enjoyed a legacy of deep-rooted friendships and numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
Betty's private family funeral service will be held on April 20, 2024, at 2:00 PM, at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, located at 6755 TN-3 N., Millington, TN 38053.
A public service will be held on May 4, 2024 at 2:00 PM, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located at 1317 Overton Park Ave., Memphis, TN 38104. The family invites all who knew Betty to join in celebrating her remarkable life.
Betty Jo Borger will be profoundly missed but forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who gave selflessly every day of her life. Her spirit and love will continue to inspire those who knew her, echoing in the lives she touched.
