Barry Mel Sanford, 82, passed away in Cordova, TN on October 29, 2019.  Mr. Sanford was a retired Maintenance Supervisor from the Dupont Corporation. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Hopper Sanford, his parents, Woodrow and Dovie Barnes Sanford, and a sister, Bonnie Sanford Weir.  Left to honor his memory is his son Dave Sanford (Liz) of Arlington, TN, two nieces, Wendy Weir Garavelli (David) of Olive Branch, MS, Tracye Weir of Bartlett, TN, three nephews John Miller ( Corinne), David Miller, and Lukas Weir.  Mr. Sanford had been blessed with two grandchildren, Madelyn Sanford and Austin Sanford.  Visitation with his family will be on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 12:00~1:00 PM with funeral service following at 1:00 PM at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, 6755 Highway 51 North, Millington, TN.  Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home and Cemetery 901-872-3375
