Barbara Aileen Foster, 89, of Memphis, went home on Mother''s Day, Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Methodist University Hospital. Mrs. Foster loved gardening, sewing, making Afghans, and especially making angels for her friends and family. She had been a member of Frayser Baptist Church since 1952 and sung in the choir and at nursing homes. Surviving are her two children, Vickie Odom Harmon (John) of Hernando; and Randy Foster (Vickie) of Piperton; four grandchildren, Cortney Cozart (Michael) of Millington; Elaina Foster of Hot Springs; Heather Bell of Cordova; and Josh Bell of Memphis; and three great grandchildren, Logan, Tanner, and Kaitlyn. Proceeding her in death is her husband of 48 years, Bob Foster. The family will receive friends at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery. The family requests memorials be sent to Frayser Baptist Church.
