It is with extreme sadness to announce our sweet Austin Tyler Laird, 28 years young, went to be with the Lord on May 24, 2020. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Major Melvin D. Green (Retired Marine) of New Orleans, LA. He is survived by two daughters whom he loved very much, Presley Grace Laird (Age 6) and Harper Joann Laird (Age 5) of Shelby County, TN; his parents, Johnny Ray and Lori Green Laird of Tipton County, TN; one brother, Christopher Ryan Laird (Chelsea Frazier); grandparents, James and Deborah Mayer of Tipton County, TN, Mary Green of Marrero, LA, and Janice and Doug Laird of Shelby County, TN; two uncles, Bradley Green (Debra) of New Orleans, LA, Timmy Laird (Darby) of Tipton County, TN, one aunt, Angie Carson (Dennis) also of Tipton County; three nieces, Lilly Grace Laird, Kensley and Jaycee Chapius; five cousins, Hunter Carson, Houston Carson, Ryunn Naquin, Joseph Bradley Green, and Britly Grace Green; as well as many Step-Uncles, Aunts, and cousins in who he also loved very much. From infancy, Austin touched so many lives. His laugh, smile, and personality were contagious and loved by all. Austin received two Associates Degrees in Culinary and Restaurant Management. He loved being a Chef and could cook all types of wonderful food s . Austin loved the Lord with all his heart as well . Austin's passion and hobby was fishing; h e loved fishing with his Papa Green, his brother, his friends, and even on his own. Austin always took his little brother Christopher under his wing, protecting and loving him throughout his whole life. Au stin Tyler Laird , Mom and Dad will miss you dearly our sweet son. Rest in peace my angel, and rest well , until we meet again!
