Obituary

In loving memory of Anthony Meadows, who departed this world on September 10, 2026, after a courageous five- year battle with Hodgkin's cancer. Born 18, 1982, in the vibrant city of Memphis, Tennessee, Anthony graced our lives with his spirited presence, unwavering love, and infectious laughter.

Anthony was the cherished son of Sue and Buddy Brewer and the beloved brother to Randell and Anthony Brewer, and Christie Englebert. He was   a devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews, who adored his playful nature and generous heart. His family was his anchor, and he treasured the time he spent with them, holding memories dear and close.

In his professional life, Anthony dedicated himself to the security guard industry, where he was known for his reliability, integrity, and commitment to safeguarding others. His colleagues admired him for his professionalism and the respect he showed to everyone he encountered.

A man of many passions, Anthony found immense joy in cooking. He delighted in re-creating his grandmother's cherished recipes, bringing to life the comforting flavors of home-cooked meals from scratch. His kitchen was a place of warmth and love, where family and friends gathered to enjoy his culinary creations.

Anthony's love for technology and modern entertainment shone through in his enthusiasm for video and online games. He spent countless hours sharing these adventures with his family and friends, creating bonds and cherished memories that will endure in the hearts of those who knew him.

Known for his quick wit and charming personality, Anthony had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and at home. His laughter was contagious, and his kindness knew no bounds. He was an animal lover at heart and shared a special bond with his loyal canine companion, Tigg, who was by his side for over a decade.

Anthony is predeceased by his grandmother Virginia Jones, grandparents Edgar and Silvia McDaniel, and his uncle and aunt David and Diane Mauldin. Their spirits undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.

A celebration of Anthony's life will be held on September 10,2026 at 1:00pm at Northridge Woodhaven located at 6755 Highway 51 North, Millington, TN. Family and friends are invited to gather in his honor, sharing stories, tears, and laughter as they remember a life lived with love and grace.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggest that donations be made in Anthony's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN, an organization close to his heart.

Anthony Meadows may have left this world, but his spirit and the love he shared with and will continue to illuminate the lives of those fortunate enough to have known him.
