Annie Ruth Shepherd, 88, passed away at Magnolia Creek in Covington, TN on Saturday, September 13, 2025. She was born in Memphis, TN on December 07, 1936, to parents Oscar and Geneva McLain. Ruth was truly a marvelous woman, she was loved by everyone who knew her. She loved her family and was always there to uplift and motivate them in whatever way she could. She married the love of her life Bobby Eugene in 1951, and from that union, five wonderful children were born. Annie was a dedicated member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Millington, TN. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Shepherd, her children: Debra Shepherd, Donna Fish, and Ricky Shepherd, as well as her parents Oscar and Geneva, and 3 siblings: her siblings: Alma Bevell and Charles McLain. Annie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Vicky Helms, and Bobby W. Shepherd, a sister, Mary Dawson, 4 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Annie will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss her more than words can express.
