Anita Carol Greene,81, of Millington, TN went to be with the Lord September 22, 2024, after a short illness surrounded by her family.  She was born in Mayfield, KY to the late W.C. and Ernestine Greene on June 16, 1943.

Anita graduated from Frayser High School in Memphis, TN, was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church formerly a member of Georgian Hills Baptist Church. She retired from American Marsh Pump Company after many years of employment.  She enjoyed reading and was a loyal St. Louis Cardinals and Memphis Redbirds fan.  When unable to attend a game, she would watch on TV.

Anita is survived by her brother; Bill Greene of Millington, TN., Sister; Joyce West of Millington, TN.  Her nieces and nephews; Rusty West (Susan), Melanie West, great nieces and nephews; Autumn West Thomas, Sophie West, Abigail West, Mackenzie West, MJ Thomas, and Samson Thomas.

Family and friends will gather from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Thursday, September 26, 2024, at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home, 6755 HWY 51 N. Millington, TN 38053.  A Celebration of Life Service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM.  Private interment service will be held in Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
