Alvin Franklin Raburn, "Sam" or "Pee Paw" 85,  passed away on July 3, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Memphis. Mr. Raburn was born in Memphis, and was  a U.S. Army Veteran. He retired from Bell South (AT&T) after 39 years and attended Cornerstone Church. His parents, Perry and Aultie Virginia Raburn and  two brothers: Gene and Lloyd Raburn preceded him in death. Alvin leaves his wife of 62 years, Dorothy; two daughters: Virginia Nell Raburn of Memphis and Linda Hindmon of Senatobia, MS; two grandchildren: Ella Howell of Southaven, MS and Sara Eslinger of Nesbit, MS; also three great-grandchildren: T.J. , Alexis Nicole and Joseph "Bubba" Maine. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 7 at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home with graveside service to follow at Northridge Woodhaven Cemetery.
