Albert Donald (Don) Rast , 83, was called home by the Lord on April 20, 2017. Don retired from Humko (Kraft Foods) with thirty-three years of service. Visitation will be Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 1:30 pm, followed by a brief celebration of his life at Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home in Millington, Tennessee, with graveside services to follow at 2:30 pm. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Pitts Rast, faithful caregiver through his battle with Parkinson''s; also, a son, Don Rast (Joy); a daughter, Dana Rast; two grandchildren, Katie Blankenship (Michael) and Kristen Stafford (James); and two great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be sent to the Parkinson''s Foundation or charity of their choice.
